TWENTY EIGHT FEET: Life on a Little Wooden Boat

We are ecstatic and proud to have had the opportunity to contribute in some small way to the development of such an impressive documentary! The story follows a man, David, who sets out to sea to discover the sense of happiness, richness and freedom that only being on the water can bring. It is an awe-inspiring yet simple tale we hope that you’ll enjoy.  The film has been played through theatres across 4 continents!

Chasing the Sun

The Vincents are an outdoor family of 3 based in the Yukon. Over the past four years they have spent a large portion of their time out exploring in search of family adventures – mostly whitewater kayaking, mountain biking and surfing, with some snowboarding thrown in on the side. Whitewater Kayaking has been their main driver for travel and they have now kayaked throughout Canada, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador and Costa Rica. This past year has been a stepping stone into the world of competition, with Hunter training for National Junior Freestyle Team trials in 2018.

“As Canadian paddlers and outdoors people, we are excited to be working with Salus Marine. Their products are fabulous and something that we are confident in recommending to all of our friends and relatives, whether it be for whitewater kayaking, sailing or just a day out on the boat playing. With everything manufactured in their Waterloo facility there is a strong focus on quality and workmanship that certainly comes through in the products.” We’re not sure where our travels will take us going forward but we always love to explore new rivers and meet new paddlers. If you happen to see us on the river, be sure to say hi!
